ABOUT METAL HOUSE CIDER
Metal House Cider is a small-batch farm cidery located in Esopus, New York making ciders in the methode champenoise using untreated and organic apples from nearby abandoned orchards and their own.
They believe that an apple treated with as minimal interventions as possible produce a richer, more interesting cider even if the varieties are not all cider specific. They endeavor to create a product that reflects the history and specific terroir of their place here in the Hudson Valley, and are now stewarding a historic Esopus orchard back to life with a combination of organic and biodynamic practices.
All aspects of production tree-to-label are done in-house by Matt DiFrancesco and Kimberly Kae, co-owners.
